I was so delighted with the women who helped me in Davids Bridal find the dress I wanted. I told them I wanted romantic, flirty, fun, and a dress suitable for a beach wedding. We narrowed the search down to three with the details I gave them. I knew instantly of the three the one I wanted once I put it on. They loved the dress on me but also loved my second choice. They told me to follow my heart and get the dress that I felt most comfortable in and I took their advice. The quality of the dress, the shoes, and headpiece were all purchased from this store and I couldn't have been happier elsewhere. They were kind, attentive, caring, and most of all made me feel special. Kudos to this store for making me feel like a princess!

I had a very difficult experience with David's bridal. Every time I called them, I got different answers depending on who I talked to. At one point, they told me the bridesmaid dresses I had picked out were no longer available even though it turned out they were. They gave me wrong information about the dresses, wrong information about getting the dresses altered, and they even ordered 2 dresses for one bridesmaid even though she ordered 1. Finally, they refused to stream my dress because I had the bustle done at another place. I would not recommend this place to any bride. They cause way to much stress.

David's Bridal is the Walmart of wedding dress shopping. With that in mind, expect long lines and a less than professional consultant. I had a hodge podge of experiences. Some great consultants some mediocre. But I loved loved loved my dress! I saw it in a catalog and knew it was the one. Don't buy shape wear here, it is over priced. You can find cheaper and better quality at Sears and JC Penny, same with jewelry and shoes. Luckily I did not need alterations but I hear they are pricey.

Found my perfect dress, veil, and eveyrthing for my bridesmaids and flower girl very cheap and everything was beautiful!!!

I have to say that I am very disappointed with the services and the lack of communication at the Fort Myers store. The service I received at first was great, but then everything just went down hill. two of my bridesmaids purchased their dresses, next thing you know, I go in with another one of my bridesmaids to purchase her dress and they inform me, they no longer carry the dress. But I never was emailed or called to provide this information. It took for me to call corporate to actually find a solution different. while the store didnt offer to take the dresses back, corporate suggested to bring the others in and select a new design. And like this, other issues happened. I must say tho, that a couple of times, they were helpful in resolving other issues. The best service I received was from the supervisors in the store, but some of the consultants, are no very attentive, and in fact they make you feel as tho you are taking their time. Mind you, I went in, and try two dresses, and purchased one of them, so I was not taking much of their time. I bought my dress, shoes and jewelry here with no complaints. The sales representatives were helpful and caring they even went out of their way. My sales representative took about 15-30 minutes out of her time to find my shoes at other stores. She did not even complain or try to deter me from what I wanted. She was determined. That is what I call great service.

Overall very unhappy with my experience. I purchased my wedding gown and bridal dresses through them. I was "upsold" on everything possible, my girls were pushed into larger sizes in order to come back to get alterations (but 0/6 were told there was a fee, it was made to seem like it was an included service). I went through another local vendor (For the Bride out of Fort Myers, FL) for my alterations and prices were much more reasonable and they were able to do my full alterations in 2 weeks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THROUGH DAVIDS BRIDAL, THERE ARE LOCAL VENDORS THAT ARE WILLING TO WORK AROUND SCHEDULES/BRIDAL PARTY LIVING IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. DON'T FALL FOR THE "WE'RE NATIONAL AND IT WON'T BE POSSIBLE WITH LOCAL VENDORS"!!!!!!!!!

I found my dress on the first trip to the store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They kept me updated on when my dress and my bridesmaids dresses came in. The alterations to my dress were perfect and completed in a timely manner.

Service is definitely lacking, but what do you want for a store that sells $400 dresses? If you want good service, go to Kleinfeld's in New York. If you're looking for service or professionalism, you wouldn't be in Davids Bridal in the first place. The dresses are decent enough since you only wear it once. Alterations are very expensive, so if you can go somewhere else for that, I'd definitely do that. Overall, you get what you pay for. But the dresses are nice for somebody on a budget.

I used Davids Bridal for my two MOHs dresses. The dress style was perfect, the color was exactly what I was looking for (celadon green-no one else seemed to have it), and the price was right! Highly recommend them for your bridal party!

The dresses are fantastic and reasonably priced but the staff are like car salesman. If you don't want something they will try to do everything to try and sway you. Also a couple of rude comments when I said I didn't want certain things, such as a veil or fancy shoes.."Your a bride you have to have these things"..actually since I AM the BRIDE I dont! Thank you very much!

I never wanted to get my wedding dress from David's because of previous experiences at the store. They are a large company so the prices are definitely great, but the service isn't. However, I found the PERFECT dress there, so I put up with their lack of flexibilty, ridiculous hours, and lack of professionalism.

H O R R I A B L E = D A V I D ' S In Fort Myers.. Please find some place else to get your dress = 4 days before my wedding the dress was still not finished. When I went to pick up. Went THREE times to pick the dress up - still not ready. Could not steam dress correctly - I finally found a WONDERFUL dress at Dillars right across the street.. And received a FULL refund from David's in Fort Myers.. Very COLD - Unfeeling - RUDE Employees and Managment. I wonder how they stay in business..

I went here not really thinking about a budget and fell in love with the 3rd dress I tried on and then looked at the price, it was very affordable! I've heard such horror stories about this place but I didn't find it as bad. My consultant was Nievas and she was very nice along the way, even if she couldn't remember my name. She deals with a lot of brides I am sure! I purchased my dress a year before my wedding, maybe that is another reason my service wasn't as bad? I wouldn't recommend getting your alterations there, it is highly overpriced. I recommend going to Jeaninne who works out of her home and used to work as a seamstress there at Davids Bridal.

I had a unique situation in that I planned my entire wedding in a little under 2 weeks. The dress was the first thing we did. I didn't have an appointment and wasn't greeted for some time when I first came in. The woman who did help me was nice, but incredibly fake. My dress consaultant, Diana was amazing though! She did her job and tried to up sell us, but wasn't too pushy and didn't try to force us to buy something we didn't want. She was very professional and made an emotional and difficult day quite special for my mom and I. I ended up having to order a different size in the dress I wanted. When it came, I still needed alterations. I was told due to the urgent emergency nature of my situation, I could have it altered and ready in a short time. But that was not the case. I originally wasn't going to be able to get it until the night before my wedding, when my rehersal was planned. I had to call back many times and explain my situation which was very personal and emotional to everyone I spoke too. Finally the alterations manager let me come in a day earlier to pick it up. She didn't seem to remember talking to me earlier that day and was a bit rude. In the end, I got a dress, and it fit well, it was my style and I looked lovely. I don't recommend getting alterations done there. Very expensive and takes way too long. The night I picked my dress up, it was downpouring. I was all by myself and they didn't offer to help me out to the car even though I could barely carry it as I am only 5'3"! I asked for a plastic cover so it wouldn't get wet but they don't even have them! Finally after I asked for someone to help, the alterations manager helped me get it in my car.Also one of my bridesmaids had to order her dress online, and when she got it, on the day of the wedding, the zipper broke! We had to literally sew her into her dress in the bathroom of the church just 30 minutes before the ceremony!

Got my dress for a great price...loved it more than the exspensive designer dresses. Went to the one in Fort Myers and thought the manager was not very nice and respectful to the bride's needs...the woman I worked with there Kim was so great though.

Overall great experience. The first time I went to look at dresses, I didn't have an appointment, and the sales consultant was not attentive at all and quite rude! However, the next time I came in, my consultant helped me find the perfect dress!! And the women in alterations are very nice/helpful!

Connie my bridal consultant was incredible and patient. I looked at 10 dresses before the one I purchased. I was given space as needed and attention when desired. I was not rushed to make a quick decision to get me out of the store but assisted me in finding the perfect dress for me. Davids Bridal provided me with an spectacular dress at a great price which was very important. I was satisfied with the David's Bridal in Fort Myers. I had an appointment set up for me at a bridal show and it was hectic when I went in. I didn't quite know where I was supposed to go. Other than that, my consultant was very nice and helpful.

Their service is terrible! Wished I had never set foot in that place!!!!!!! They are a rip off!!!! I wished I had took the time to check out the comments before I went. Believe me it pays to check out the business before you go and buy!
