I'm the Mother of the Bride and this was a destination wedding, with the planners in Florida, me in Maryland, bride in NYC. I would say it best for Mom and Bride to agree and go jointly to planners to save time on three-way opinions. We did this for the most part, but probably would've been easier on the planners if we had done it 100%. The bride should have a clear idea on what she wants the overall wedding style to be, my daughter had that vision and I believed that helped the planners from day one. Detailz Events - Karen and Madi - were a life-saver and out of all the wedding expenses, the money put here was the most well spent and worth every dime. They were sensitive to the bride's requests, they were professional all the way, patient, detail-oriented, never skipped a beat. The anticipated issues we had not, and smoothed out issues that came to the surface. They were equally comforting in stressful times of sorting through plans. My daughter and I have said time and time again, we don't know WHAT we would've done without them. We worked with them for over a year, and on the wedding day, not a detail was missed. The wedding was superbly organized, even started on time and icould not have gone better. Our guests are still commenting it was the best wedding they had ever been to - and we attribute that to Karen and Madi/Detailzevents!

These women were amazing. WE had many strange and out of ordinary requests which were handled above and beyond what was expected. Everything we wanted, they invisioned, they created and made it happen. DETAILZ made our day exaclty the way we imagined!

The Detailz crew helped us organize our dream party, which included four bands, hundreds of pounds of raw crystals, fireworks, a boat ride and thousands of seemingly impossible tasks. All handled with care & respect. Very friendly people, with a positive, do anything additude.

Karen and Madi @ Detailz Events helped me to pull off a 3-day event and wedding in Naples and I'll be forever grateful for their fabulous event planning skills. I live abroad and work in a pretty demanding job-- I couldn't have possibly pulled together my wedding without their help, professionalism and creative vision. Karen and Madi were fantastic to work with from beginning to end. They understood exactly what I was looking for and every meeting was meticulously planned and prepared (agendas and everything!). They presented great options, always listened to my feedback and were really responsive to any changes. They dealt directly with all of my vendors, which was incredibly helpful and saved me a lot of stress. As with any event, there were one or two unforeseen 'hiccups' (including a 'love bug' invasion) and they dealt with them quickly and always brought great solutions. Who did two betrothed professionals -- busy procrastinators with mindful aesthetic tastes -- turn to in order to plan a high-end wedding celebration with only two months left until the wedding date? They (*we*) turned to Detailz, who helped us pull off a ceremony and celebration that had even the 85-year-olds in attendance declaring it among the nicest wedding celebrations they had ever attended. Karen and Madi were so much fun to work with! My husband and I had the most amazing wedding, and I know that is all because of Detailz. I was able to just relax and have fun with my family and friends, while they had every detail planned out and taken care of before I ever even got a chance to worry about anything! Madi and Karen of Detailz Events were fabulous. They introduced us to great local vendors; tracked every detail; offered great advice; and provided a constant running list of things to attend to. They are more than wedding planners as they also do other types of party events from start to finish so they have special skills at decorating which helped immensely. The team at Detailz Events are the best! I planned our wedding from Minneapolis via phone calls and emails. I was never able to get down to Naples to meet with Karen prior to our wedding day. She was wonderful about taking my ideas and turning them into my dream wedding. When I would make suggestions she listened incredibly well and made them work. When I was feeling overwhelmed she would take the reigns for a while and in the end our wedding was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. I had no worries on my wedding day because they were present throughout the entire ceremony and reception to manage every single detail. I would highly recommend them!!!

My daughter was scheduled to be married on the beach at the exact time Hurricane Wilma was to hit the Gulf Coast of Florida. The wedding had to be moved up with 24 hours notice. Detailz did an amazing job contacting the vendors, coordinating the changes that were necessary and even found a new photographer at the last minute ,who was fantastic, because our original one evacuated. In the middle of complete chaos, these ladies maintained their calm professionalism and pulled off a beautiful wedding.

Karen and Madi did an amazing and very professional job. They were called in at the last minute when the wedding planner I hired 7 months in advance dropped the ball. They took over seamlessly, and made everything run incredibly smoothly, which was a task given the many personalities involved in my wedding party. I also thought their price was very reasonable - the best $1000 I spent for my wedding!

Detailz is my go to special events planners. I have found them to be professional, fair, and out of the box regarding creativity. When I find I am planning an event--they are my first call! And, have been for years!
