Wendy is such an incredible owner at For the Bride! She makes you feel special. She makes you think "outside the box" while finding your perfect dress. She will help in any way and always gives great advice. Her selection of dresses is incredible and the prices are great too!

I found my dress at this boutique miles from home! They have gorgeous dresses here at every price level. The service at first was great but once I paid for the dress, it seemed like it was lacking a bit. They also were not as accommodating even though I was driving from far away. But all in all the dresses are gorgeous and the staff is knowledgeable.

I actually bought my dress up in Jacksonville but took it down to Ft Myers to get altered and they did an awesome job with it. The ladies in the store are all very nice and definitely know what they're doing. They didn't charge me for a second alteration after I lost too much weight between the 1st and 2nd fitting, and they made sure that dress fit me like a glove, it was perfect! Very pleased with the service I received there and the dresses I saw when I was in there for fittings looked beautiful, would definitely recommend them.

During my first visit they were very nice and helpful. I came seeking alterations for my dress that I had purchased elsewhere. I found the price very good for the amount of work I wanted done. When I left with my dress I was very pleased. However on my wedding day I as I was putting my dress on I was stabbed by pins. I took off my dress to find an entire row of pins still inside my dress. There was a section that was never altered. I tried on the dress before I left their store with it but had somehow missed seeing the pins. I ended up having to use safety pins so I didn't get stabbed by the pins. When I came back from my honeymoon I tried to contact the store. I called twice with no answer and sent three emails. I have had no response from them. I am very dissapointed with their service. I expected this to be a great place to go since the reviews were so high, so I hope my experience was a rare one.

Wendy was AMAZING to work with. Very flexible with appt scheduling and great quality dresses! She is 100% hands on with all her customers and makes you feel very special when dress shopping!

Wendy pulled off the impossible. We all looked amazing in our dressses...the bridal party, Mother of the Bride, and the Bride. I am still getting compliments on how pretty we all looked.Wendy selected my dress the day I first went into the store. She had just opened the dress that morning and that was it...I had my dress. It is beautiful and I felt like Cinderella in it. Wendy is great!! She is so friendly and helpful! It was very different walking in this store from the other bridal stores I went to. I loved that they did not push you to buy something at For the Bride. I cannot stand it when a sales person is constantly pressuring you! They have many deal if you purchase a dress off the rack. Or you could also order dresses in from a catalog. I fell in love with a dress off the rack & got an great deal!

My daughter Meghan's wedding was October 10th and we had a difficult time back in January when she first got engaged finding a wedding dress because she didn't have any idea what style she liked. We heard of Wendy at For the Bride through other brides who had great experiences there and boy were they right! Wendy knew exactly what would look perfect on Meghan and she has a tremendous selection to choose from. She knows EVERYTHING there is to know about wedding dresses and she will spend as much time as you need to make the right choice. We had a wonderful experience, right down to alterations with Miss Charlotte who is so kind and knowledgeable just as is Wendy. Don't waste precious time with all the wedding planning going anywhere else for the most important thing...The Bridal Gown!!!

Wendy and her staff at For the Bride were so amazing to work with. They did not pressure you to buy anything or follow you around the store like the other big name bridal stores. I purchased my bridesmaid dresses and my reception dress from the boutique and they were so beautiful and affordable. I bought my bridal gown years ago from another boutique and it was hard to find a place that was willing to do the alterations, but Wendy was more than happy to have her seamstress Charlotte do it, and she did an amazing job! Both my dresses fit perfectly! I would highly recommend For the Bride!

Wendy with For the Bride is just wonderful! I had used her prior to my wedding for alterations for bridesmaids dresses for weddings I was in and she was always so accomodating and so reasonable. Her seamstress and staff are certainly professionals in their line of work. I approached Wendy about my wedding dress. I bought my dress at a separate bridal boutique a few years earlier when I was previously engaged. After calling off the engagement, I decided I still wanted to purchase my dress, and had some terrible dealings with the boutique afterward. I asked Wendy if she would do my alterations for my wedding dress. She said of course. She had the most beautiful selection of dresses too, just in case I changed my mind :) LOL I purchased my shoes, veil, and the most beautiful hair pin. Wendy and her staff were simply wonderful. Wendy, the owner, did a bridesmaid dress that I needed two months before my own wedding. I was so impressed with her and her personality that I brought my wedding dress back for alterations and my mother and mother-in-law bought their dresses from her. Great place to get your dresses or just have them altered!!

I found my dress here while visiting my in-laws. I live in NJ and the dress shop is in Florida. Not only did the owner meet with me around the holidays to do the alterations, she also packed the dress in a carryon for my mother-in-law to transport up once it was done.There was a great selection of dresses here. My mother-in-law also got her dress here. I found that the quality was high and the cost was valuable. Definitely go check this place out!!

They were able to provide me with a very unique, gorgeous dress that was made in Australia (my husband's home country)...in a cool color, and my perfect size! Without ordering! They were helpful and professional. I would recommend any bride to check them out.

While every dress here is absolutely gorgeous, I found my wedding dress here! Just to be sure I came back very often to continue to try it on in front of their mirrors! They were amazing and always seemed happy to assist in this process! I loved the place so much that after moving out of state, I still made all of my bridesmaids order their gowns from this store! The value was certainly worth it and the dresses were absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't have asked for anything better!Thank you!!!

The owner of this boutique is extremely knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Her merchandise is unbelieveably beautiful, and very well priced. Highly recommended!
