Mielke Photography & Video

Rosemary and Paul Mielke were extremely easy to work with. Our photographs turned out great and we couldn't have asked for better photographers. They are very professional, friendly and fun to work with. They knew exactly what to do and when to do it. We hardly noticed they were there other than when we were posing. My husband and I wanted a beach wedding and chose Sanibel because we have friends who live on the island. Rosemary was recommended by our officiant. Thirty minutes before the ceremony (on the beach) it was pouring rain and the wind was blowing 30 mph. The rain stopped in time but the wind kept blowing! Rosemary managed to get beautiful photographs even in those conditions! And she had a very calming effect on me, as I was extremely nervous about the weather. We had 60 people on the beach for the ceremony and Rosemary got great photographs. Rosemary was easy to work with before, during, and after the wedding. She is a very talented professional who also (bonus!!!) has a lovely personality. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Our wedding was truly a dream and Rosemary definately helped make it possible! We traveled from IL (1700 miles) to Sanibel beach. Rosemary was suggested to us by a professional planner - did she deliver!! Rosemary was not only courteous and professional but FUN! Her easy-going personality and friendly smile put us to ease in seconds. She is very personable and willingly accomodated our beach wedding by traveling. I found her very easy to work with in the months prior to our trip by telephone and email - Rosemary gives her personal time and is willing to discuss her work and pricing. My husband and I traveled alone for our private ceremony of two. This small wedding didn't inhibit or prejudice Rosemary - we have a huge selection of extremely high quality and creative photos to choose from!! She treated our small affair just as a large partied ceremony. Rosemary is probably too cheap for what you get - very good quality and her cost is reasonable. My husband and I feel truly blessed that Rosemary was a PART of our special day.

We have Rosemarie to do our wedding pictures and were exceptionally happy with her services. All pictures came very professional and we and our guests can view them on the web side.

5 out 5! Is there a higher rating? No Joke! Rosemary and her wonderful hubby Paul are perfect tens. I am a bride from Tampa, Florida and requested Rosemary to come from her town, Ft. Myers to do our wedding (yes that is how amazing they are). Everything from start to beginning is so professional but fun. She immediately latches on to your family and knows everyoneÂ’s names within minutes. If her personality wasnÂ’t enough the quality of pictures are AMAZING. I honestly am having trouble picking out individual ones for our album because I love them all. I really appreciate all the special touches especially passing when they passed out business cards at the reception with her website and our code for our guest to view our pictures online. That saves me a HUGE hassle. Rosemary and Paul are the real deal and the best photographers in the state of Florida. Book them now. :) You wonÂ’t be disappointed.

I would recommend Rosemary to any couple getting married! She was fantastic! Our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. She captured the most beautiful moments. Rosemary is great to work with. She listens to what you are looking for in your pictures and does exactly what you ask. She was wonderful, we are so happy with our pictures! Her husband Paul was our officiant. Once upon a time, there was a perfect couple...they had the perfect wedding... and an awesome photographer that captured it all. I can't believe how wonderful the photos are. I can't thank you enough ... except now I'm having a really hard time trying to decide which ones I love the most. You have a real talent of capturing the true emotion and happiness of the occasion and I would recommend you to anyone trying to capture that special moment. I could "gush" on and on about you, but I'm sure you've heard it before. I don't know Paul's email address, but please convey to him that we had several compliments on him as well. One person stated to me that he had a very "soothing" tone and his whole demeanor was one that was calming and sincere. He actually appeared to enjoy performing the ceremony (he has a very nice smile)... and when the officiate is happy ... everyone is happy... he "sets the tone" and he is great at it. Even the boat didn't shake him - I loved how he "rolled with it" and Heather and Daryl will one day tell the story to their grandchildren of the high performance boat starting up in the middle of their ceremony (everyone has to have a story of one comical thing that happened to tell, or it wouldn't be real life). That's just one of the things that makes it memorable. Again - thanks to the both of you.

I searched for a while for a photographer that not only took great pictures but made me feel comfortable. The moment I met Rosemary I was sold. She is a very warm person who makes you feel beautiful on your special day. The pictures are amazing. I had such a hard time picking out my favorite 100 for the albumn because all of them were so great. Thank you Rosemary for capturing my memories in such a beautiful way!

Rosemary was wonderful, not only as a photographer but as a person. Our Wedding Pictures turned out beautiful and were ready even before we got back from our Honeymoon!! I would highly recommend Mielke Photography for any special occasion. Rosemary did an excellent job with the pictures from my beach wedding. She was very receptive as to the types of pictures we wanted and the people included in them. There were so many pictures, and her experience and keen eye for details made for the perfect pictures to keep the memory alive. I really do not enjoy having my picture taken, and Rosemary helped set me at ease throughout the entire event. She was exceptionally quick at getting the proofs to us, and I was truly amazed at how fantastic the pictures looked, before any touch-ups. Rosemary really went above and beyond to enable us to have the perfect pictures for us to remember our special day!

I would highly recommend Rosemary for a wedding photographer. I was an out-of-state bride and needed to plan things in a short amount of time while on vacation for a week in FL. Rosemary was able to put us in touch with everyone we needed to make our day perfect! She recommended a florist that was amazing, her husband, Paul, was our officiant, and we used her recommended videographer (quirky, but excellent work!). She basically doubled as our wedding planner! Her photographs were beautiful as well and we are absolutely thrilled with our wedding albums. She has an outstanding eye and captures the beauty of the FL region perfectly. Anyone looking for a personable, professional, and all-around talented/creative photographer should definitely use Rosemary for their special event!

I honestly could not imagine finding a better photographer for our wedding. First of all, their technical expertise was wonderful. They have the best equipment and a wonderful eye for what makes a good photo. Their choice of content, lighting, angles and background was flawless. In addition to their technical expertise, they are very creative. They will capture all the classic moments you expect them to capture on film, but you will also have a number of creative photographs that will be special, unique and like no others you have seen. Finally, they are great to work with...providing great direction, guidance, support and friendship as you work together to capture some of the greatest moments of your life. A+++!! Mielke Photography is amazing! I would recommend them to anyone, for a wedding or any other event. My best friend got married about six months after I did and was just as pleased with them. My husband and I recently had our first child and will use them for our family photos. If you are looking for a photographer to capture the best memories of your life, you can comfortably rely on Rosemary. We also used the officiate services, and videography and all three were incredible! Our choice to go with Mielke Photography and Video was one of the easiest and best choices for our wedding day.

I am a Naples, Fl bride. Rosemary and her husband were absolutley wonderful to everyone involved in our wedding day. She was very professional and personal at the same time. Rosemary helped take alot of stress off of me. I did my research and after comparing prices and work, she was our only choice. Our pictures and album turned out amazing. Rosemary and Paul were a wonderful couple to work with. They made sure all of our needs were met and provided us, in the end, with a book of pictures that will last us a lifetime. What I appreciated the most was that they passed out business cards at the reception that had a link and code for all my guests to review, and order if they wish, pictures of the whole event. Rosemary did an excellent job! She was professional, punctual, sweet, kind and knowledgable. She really kept things going smoothly. She was constantly able to keep things rolling so we didn't fall behind in schedule. We were very pleased with the quality of the finished product. My husband is an artist so that is saying a lot.Her husband, Paul, was our officiant. He too, was professional, knowledgable and kind. They make a terrific team!

The thing that I like the most about working with Rosemary is that she didn't make us feel like we were just another wedding. Within 15 minutes of meeting my HUGE bridal party (8 bridesmaids and two flower girls) she had everyone's names memorized and treated us as if we were her own. I felt so comfortable with her expertise that I pretty much left all of the photos up to her. She was creative and fun and youthful and it showed in my final pictures. My friends always tell me that I have the best wedding photos of our group and I have no doubt it was beacuse we had Rosemary behind the lens. I would strongly recommend her to handle your special day. You won't be sorry!!
