Pelican Preserve Golf Club

We held our reception in the Magnolia Room at Pelican Preserve and it was beautiful! Vanessa was so helpful in every step of the process and went above and beyond to make our day special. The food was great and the night went so smoothly thanks to their staff. I highly recommend Pelican Preserve!

Vanessa and the staff here were amazing!! I planned our wedding here long distance and she was so easy to work with. She was quick to respond to any questions through email, she kept notes about everything we talked about. There wasn't one thing that I requested that she didn't make happen for us. During the rehearsal a couple people mentioned that a fountain by our site may be a little too noisy and make it hard to hear the ceremony. The next day, it was turned off! The site was just beautiful, the banquet room was perfect, the staff was so professional and polite. My guests all thought it was so fancy and were so impressed, they were convinced we spent a fortune on this venue when it was really far from it! So very happy we got married here!!

I just had my wedding at Pelican Preserve, and it was everything I could have ever imagined. Vanessa was my coordinator and she is awesome. She is so easy to talk to and she understands your needs. She answered every one of my e-mails, and there were plenty, very promptly. I was freaking out a bit right before I walked down the aisle but Vanessa was right there to make my freak out moment go away. I'll never forget the moment I looked at her, right before walking down the aisle and thanking her. She really did make my day want I wanted it to be. Everything that Pelican did was perfect. The food was amazing, the staff is very friendly, and the grounds are beautiful. And for the price is was by far one of the easiest decisions I made when planning our wedding, and one I'm happy I made.

Pelican Preserve is a beautiful place. This was my very first and only choice for our wedding, and I still feel it was the best choice. The services was outstanding and could not have asked for anything better. We received alot of assistance and understanding. Pelican Preserve is everything I could have ever wanted for the biggest day of my life. The coordinator there, Vanessa was phenomenal!! She was there to answer every one of my hundred questions and worked directly with me to make sure every detail was carried out, from my customized menu to the overall layout of the reception. It was her hard work and dedication that allowed me to be worry free on my big day. The grounds at pelican preserve are beautiful, the scenery was a gorgeous backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and our photos. We booked the osprey ballroom for our reception and the layout of the building was one of my favorite aspects. There is a huge balcony overlooking the golf course and grounds where we held our cocktail hour. Attached to the ballroom, there is a separate room where the buffet was set up, I especially liked that the food (as delicious as it was) was out of site and not taking away from the decor. The ballroom itself is stunning; with tall ceilings and elegant accents, it is beautiful by itself yet easy to decorate and make your own. We must have looked at 40 different venues to hold our wedding, and as soon as we found pelican preserve we knew we had to be married there! If I could do everything all over again, I wouldn't change a single thing. Booking with pelican preserve allowed me to live out my dream wedding.

Beautiful Location to get married. We chose to get married by the fountain. They have several locations, equally as gorgeous. The food was amazing and Vanessa was a god send when it came to coordinating the event the day of.

We loved everything about this venue. The scenery is breathtaking, your pictures will be beautiful. Vanessa is awesome! She is a great coordinator, so knowledgeable, easy to work with, and down to earth. Everything went so smooth on our big day, I did a lot of stressing and worrying for nothing. We got so many compliments on how good the food was, and no one really expects wedding food to be great. Pelican Preserve gives you a lot more bang for your buck compared to similar venues that want to nickle and dime you at every turn.

The ceremony was held outside at the Ampitheater here at Pelican Preserve. It was a beautiful evening ceremony just before sunset. The woodlands behind the ampitheater provided a natural background and the grounds themselves are great for the photos. There are fountains, lakes, bridges, etc. for photos. The food was great, although I didn't eat much (I don't think the bride ever does) and the Magnolia Room was a beautiful setting. The service was great, so good that I actually didn't pay much mind to any one working there. I think that is a great feeling when everyone is taken care of and you don't even know the service is there. That makes the night feel more intimate with your guests! It was an ideal location and great food.

Pelican Preserve was, for the most part, a great venue. The setting was gorgeous (right on a wooded wildlife preserve), as was the banquet room with its oak wood floors and picture windows. It was so nice having the ceremony and reception just steps away from each other. And the wooden bridges and lakes made for beautiful pictures. Vanessa (if she's still there) was an amazing coordinator! I cannot stress that enough. But she needs more help! She was the only person who could give us answers about rehearsal questions, menu questions, bar questions, seating questions, etc. etc., and she wasn't always the easiest person to get in touch with. I don't fault her at all, but they need to get her an assistant. The biggest problem happened during our reception when the bar tab we set up ran out and nobody informed us. They were supposed to tell us when we were approaching the preset limit, so we could extend it, but, instead, they just started charging our guests for drinks — which is not what we agreed on. It was almost impossible to find anyone who could help us fix it. The bartenders didn't know what to do, nor did any of the waiters. The issue was eventually resolved, but it put a bit of a damper on 10 minutes of our big night. Not a huge deal, but it shouldn't have happened. Everything else, food especially, was great.
