Ohh where to start! AMAZING, would be a good start. I hired Kathie nearly a year prior to my wedding, which was June 4,2011 at LaPlaya, Naples,FL. I am from Cleveland, OH, and she such an asset to the GREATEST DAY EVER! :) From the minute I spoke with her on the phone for the first time she was very professional, to the point, and on top of everything! I must say I am quite the organizer and have tendancies of being anal, with Kathie and her daughter Jacqui, I was lost because I didn't have to be, I almost didn't know what to do with myself. She was there for EVERY LITTLE DETAIL! Through out the year she was very prompt to getting back to be via email, which was great for me! When I found lanterns for the ceremony on the beach I sent her a picture, sent her money and she went out and bought them for me right away! When I needed to mail my favors and extra I wanted to use, I was able to send them to her home. When I needed an input I could text her, text pictures and get great opinions! When my now husband tells me the day before we fly down to FL that his pants for the wedding day were to long, I called her that moment, she got us in with a seamstress for what day worked for us once we got there. She came by the resort the day we arrived to finalize a few things, drop off the items I mailed to her, picked up extras for me on her own, gave us maps and addresses of the seamstress and court office to get our marriage license. When It came to "crunch time" she recontacted vendors for me, finalized timings, made timelines for me and the bridal party to hand out. And the day before the wedding I realized I forgot to get sand for the sand ceremony and hour before rehersal, she stopped and picked it up for me! She made the flow of the wedding so easy and FUN! They truely made every moment enjoyable :) When my flower girl's little bouquet broke (the flower completely came off the stem literally right before we started the ceremony) Kathie to the rescue! Her and Jacqui put a new flower in, in moments time, I didn't have time to get anxious! During the reception they sneeked out to take the gifts/cards/and my extras I had sent down to the room for us. When I told her we were leaving early for the cruise the next morning, she took it out of our suite and took it home to mail back to me! That is just a small amount of greatness these two are at "Side by Side" I could not of asked for greater planners! From start to finish, the professionalism, attentiveness, dedication, organization, etc, they are all that and so much more! :) Words can not describe how GREATFUL I am to have had the WONDERFUL opportunity to work with them! I would do it all over again in a heart beat! (with the same guy of course..haha). If you plan to get married near Naples,FL area; or if you are not, I would consider getting married near Naples, FL just to have these two be there for you!!!! You will NOT have to worry about a thing AT ALL! Kathie and Jacqui will make your greatest day ever, be more than you could EVER ASK FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) xoxo

I hired Kathie and her daughter Jacqui for my daughter who lives in Mnahattan wedding 12/04/10. I cannot say enough for either of them. Energy, Caring, attention to detail are just a drop in the bucket for what they do. They contacted all the vendors set up a timeline for the day and were hands on with it all. I would like to say I am a little annal but not once did I check on the reception site nor the set up for the outdoor ceremony at LaPlaya Resort in Naples Fl. They were there from start to finish. At the end they even brought over all the gifts plus decorations that we had used for the event over to the bridal suite. If you are searching for a team that thoroughly enjoys doing this is fun to work with and lets you enjoy the wedding. Look no further, Side by Side is the answer to your dreams. I wish I had another wedding to plan as they would be my first contact. They are also a great guide to helping you choose your vendors. Bret Foreman and his band were outstanding as well as Niche rentals for chairs etc.Kudos to Side by Side...You are outstanding.

Thanks to Kathie Resop and her daughter, Jacqui, our wedding at La Playa resort in Naples was perfect! Kathie did an excellent job recommending and coordinating all of the vendors and was extremely organized -- which was very appreciated since we live in Chicago. On our big day, Kathie and Jacqui took care of all of the details, allowing us to enjoy every minute of our day. They were both a joy to work with! If you are planning a wedding in or around the Naples area, please do yourself a favor and call Side By Side...worth every penny!

Kathy was my "day of" wedding coordinator and words cannot describe how absolutely amazing she was. I live in Tallahassee, 6 hours away from Naples, and meeting with my vendors in the weeks before the wedding was impossible. Kathy did it all - she went to my other vendors and introduced herself, sent them emails for me and completely took care of our wedding timeline. I knew that on my wedding day that I would not be able to do all that little stuff that no one really thinks about - like making sure the ceremony and reception site is perfect, putting the guestbook out, putting candles on the tables, putting the escort cards out - all that little stuff really adds up. But with Kathy, I didn't have to worry. She did it all and did it perfectly. She really spent time with me to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted so that she could make my wedding day perfect, which she did. During the reception - she took care of the gifts and made sure we stayed on our timeline and also made sure we got in everything we wanted. I just cannot say enough about her. She is absolutely amazing and if you are getting married in the Southwest Florida area - Kathy Resop is definitely a MUST HAVE vendor.
