The Garden District

We worked with Barbara for our wedding and she did a beautiful job! She was so nice and patient, communicating back and forth for over a year, and working hard to achieve exactly what we envisioned. Everyone complimented the flowers, and we were so pleased with everything - the bouquets, the arrangements for the tables, everything. I would highly recommend Garden District for any event!

I used the Garden District for my wedding florals and they were exceptional. I thought maybe they were a bit expensive when I went to their shop, but I found the prices to be quite competitive and actually much more reasonable than the other florists I had previously checked out. I loved my centerpieces and I got exactly what I had wanted. I truly recommend the Garden District for any floral occasion.

My mother who is a design professional knew from the minute she met Mia that we had to hire her (and that we wouldn't be able to find anyone better). We ordered bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and single roses (for moms) from Garden District. Mia is extremely tasteful and easy to work with. She knew exactly what I meant when I said "garden-ey" feel and "unusual" flower. We received many compliments on our bouquets. The bride and maid of honor bouquet were a little more similar than I would have liked, but I really can't complain because of how nice they came out. The bouquets were reasonably priced, very at par with other local florists but much nicer! At no point did I feel like I was trying to be upsold. In fact, Mia helped me decide where I could cut corners and stay within my budget. The flowers were delivered at the right time, all labeled so we knew which went to whom.

My flowers were gorgeous and I was extremely happy with bouquets, centerpieces, etc. The Garden District has the ability to create contemporary but classic and tasteful designs. Instead of baskets with flowers, our flower girls carried purses made from mini flowers. They are complete girly girls and they loved it (and so did I, what woman doesn't love a purse). Other than the centerpieces, I just gave them the colors of the wedding and they came up with beautiful designs. They even provided extra flowers for my husband who kept losing his due to all of the hugs. Highly prepared. I only gave them 3 1/2 stars for professionalism because at times I felt the person I dealt with was slightly abrasive but that could have been due to many things such as a bad day, me misreading her emails, etc. In the end, I would use them again without hesitation.
