Tonya Malay has been photographing brides and grooms since 1993, specializing in wedding and sunset photography exclusively. Tonya has photographed over 1000 weddings and still approaches each wedding with enthusiasm, passion and commitment to excellence. Her style incorporates both fine art photojournalism and candid photography, capturing each couple's unique personalites in their wedding day images.
Tonya is always the principal photographer. Her team includes a lighting assistant at every wedding, and a second photographer for larger weddings. Her high level of expertise, technical skill, advanced lighting techniques, and creativity are evident in her work. She has been complimented on her ability to capture moments in a discreet, quiet, and non-intrusive manner. Her main goal is to allow the bride and groom to enjoy their special day by keeping posed pictures to a minimum and concentrating on capturing those special moments candidly. Her work has been featured in over 20 publications, and her company was recently featured in Soutwest Florida's Gulfshore Life Magazine.
